Space Center Houston Space Shuttle Multi-touch Wall at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas

DoubleTake Technologies created a large multi-user, multi-touch Space Shuttle wall exhibit at Space Center Houston at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Over 800,000 visitors from all over the world experience this exhibit every year. The wall was designed to provide a fun, educational experience for kids and adults. This first exhibit focused on the first Space Shuttle Mission (sts-1). Future versions will include Space Station and Apollo history.

DoubleTake creates Kinect for Windows…on real windows at Louisiana Children’s Museum!

DoubleTake Technologies (doubletaketech.com) launched the first ever “Double-purpose” custom Kinect for Windows apps for the Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center. This unique “Kinect for Windows on windows” exhibit includes two 67″ diagonal window projection screens with two Kinect for Windows sensors that can be used during the day inside for education and entertainment “edu-tainment” as well as at night outside for both entertainment and advertising. DoubleTake created 3 custom “edu-tainment” apps for the museum, including a Space Shuttle app, a GoGreen Recycling game, and the community favorite Strawberry Splat game that added the local strawberry industry flavor to the experience. The exhibit will expand later this year to span all 4 front windows and add additional apps.
