Chevrolet Dealership Launches DoubleTake’s iStickr App and Glass Touch Screen DreamWall!
DoubleTake Technologies and Norman Frede Chevrolet in Houston, TX launch iStickr Software and a 5 ft wide x 6 ft high glass touch screen DreamWall! iStickr brings the dealership’s inventory to their tablets and the Chevrolet “Bowtie” logo shaped rear-projection DreamWall! The sales team can browse or search vehicle inventory and flick selected vehicles from the tablet to the DreamWall for a much more visual presentation to the customer. They can also flick selected vehicles from the DreamWall to the tablet and walk the customer out to the lot location to show them the vehicle. Customers can also browse and search the inventory on the DreamWall while waiting for available salesman or to simply explore “pressure-free”. iStickr updates inventory automatically and maintains a database of vehicle locations, thus saving the sales team significant amounts of time searching for particular vehicles on the lot.

Space Center Houston Space Shuttle Multi-touch Wall at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas
DoubleTake Technologies created a large multi-user, multi-touch Space Shuttle wall exhibit at Space Center Houston at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Over 800,000 visitors from all over the world experience this exhibit every year. The wall was designed to provide a fun, educational experience for kids and adults. This first exhibit focused on the first Space Shuttle Mission (sts-1). Future versions will include Space Station and Apollo history.

Tangipahoa Tourism Center makes tourists do a DoubleTake! Transparent touch screen, multitouch, overlay, wayfinding, tourism
Tangipahoa Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau and DoubleTake Technologies take interactive tourism to a whole new level! DoubleTake Technologies recently launched a one-of-a-kind integrated touch screen system at the Tangipahoa Tourism Center in Hammond, LA. The installation included 1 62″ diagonal mobile transparent touch screen system and 5 LED TV Overlay touch screens. The staff at the tourism center welcomes the visitors at the main transparent screen and then “flicks” content that they are interested in to one of the surrounding 5 LED TV touch screens so the visitors can walk over and explore their area of interest further.
